Council meeting 2019

On the 2nd to 3rd of April the EurAdopt council met in Vienna for the annual meeting. Twelve of the thirteen EurAdopt member countries were represented at the meeting, which was hosted by the Austrian organisation Eltern für Kinder, Austria.

During the two days many interesting discussions related to the current situation of intercountry adoption took place. The upcoming 2020 EurAdopt conference was also adressed. The conference will take place in Copenhagen in May 2020. Further information about the conference will be published on this web page in the autumn.

The council also approved the application for membership from the Foundation for Welfare Services. The council is delighted to welcome the first EurAdopt member from Malta.
